We've recently acquired a couple of AKG C414 ULS mics - a model much used by
the BBC. They're excellent for choral and other classical recording, as well as being
an industry standard drum overhead mic. If a recent choir recording in Jesus College
Chapel Cambridge is anything to go by, they were worth the investment.

Highlights of the studio's extensive range of equipment include Neumann and AKG
mics; TL Audio valve mic pre-amps, compressors and parametric equalisers;
Lexicon reverbs; a fully weighted 88-key keyboard; Korg, Roland and Alesis sound
modules; a range of guitars and amplifiers; a Pearl drumkit and an Esmono
soundproofed and acoustically "dead" recording booth.
