As of 1 April 2006, the studio's rates are as follows: Daily rates - £180 (8hr day), £200 (10hr day) For hourly rates please contact us at studio@zooaudio.co.uk, or phone 01223 519296. CDR duplication: click here. Studio recording does not generally incur tape costs, as no tape is used. The only exception to this is if a DAT master is required, in which case the price is £10 per tape. No charge is made for CDRs, and artists/band members can generally expect to be provided with one audio CDR each. All recordings made by the studio are backed up to CDR or DVD. The masters are generally retained by the studio, but remain the property of the client, and the client is welcome to take possession of them at any time. In the case of multitrack recording, the back ups will be in the particular format appropriate to the software used - typically SawStudio, ProTools or Cubase VST/SX - allowing for instant recall of all mix parameters, edits etc. It should be noted that, unless the client specifies otherwise, the back ups will not necessarily include 'takes' made during the course of the recording which were not used in the final mix. |
