A few tips for those coming with Virgin/Acorne gift certificates:
1) Don't try to find your way to the studio by typing the postcode CB24 6HN into Streetmap or similar Internet location programs. You'll find yourself at the Cambridge Sorting Office if you do. Please e-mail the studio for directions.
2) If you have backing track(s) for the song(s) you want to sing then please feel free to bring them - there's a lot to be said for having a track you're familiar with. The option is still there to use the studio's version if you like it better.
3) If a song you wish to sing isn't listed then get in touch with the studio - we may well be able to get hold of a backing track for it for you.
4) If you need the lyrics and it's easy for you to print them out then please do so. Google the song name plus "lyrics" and you'll find them easily enough. We can do it here, but it will save time if you have them. However, if you can learn them it will help your performance.
5) There's no obligation to use the studio time to sing a song (or more than one) to a backing track. It's yours to do what you want with - within reason, of course.
